The Master Cleanser Day 4 (part 2)
Very few cravings of any type today. But I also was busy working on things so I wasn't just thinking about eating. Was able to consume 100 ounces of lemonade today. That helps too. I still haven't tried the peppermint tea. Maybe tomorrow.
One of the most enjoyable food things that I get to do is lick the spoon that I use for measuring maple syrup. Even after 4 days, I still have a sweet tooth.
I did get my shipment of Grade B maple syrup from Maple Valley today. Very good stuff. It is darker and better tasting than the Grade A Amber Dark that I was using.
Otherwise I have been getting comments from co-workers about the weight loss. Hopefully I will be able to keep some of this off afterwards.
The Master Cleanser Day 4
If my body keeps this up, I'll be under 170 before the end of this. I haven't been this weight in over 15 years. That's scary.
Odd thoughts and such.
The herbal laxative tea, Smooth Move, has a nasty aftertaste. Works well, but you know you drank afterwards.
My hands seem colder than normal.
Still have a stuffed up nose and sometimes lose my voice. This is very similar to my milk allergy symptoms. Maybe it is just all the mucus loosening up.
Ringing in the ears. More so than usual since I do have hearing issues and slight ear ringing does happen on occasion.
On Day 4 and things are still coming out of the digestive tract. I guess when people say I'm full of shit, they're right!
Last night before bed, I noticed that my stomach area is really soft. It isn't usually this soft and mushy. I guess I need to do more Cyclo-CORE workouts to get some abs.
It will be nice to have a bottle of HEED and some Recoverite when this is done.
Have I mentioned that I'm scheduled for ear surgery on 03/13/07. So my goal is to stay on this until after that. So probably a 21 day cleanse for me. Only time will tell.
I need to try the Peppermint Tea today to see how that tastes and goes down.
Off to ride some bike on the CompuTrainer and then work.

The Master Cleanser Day 3 (part 2)
I did have nasty cravings today for Subway and Lays Classic Potato Chips. So bad that I could taste them.
Not to mention I went to work and there was cheesecake and birthday cake!
But I drank up 100 ounces of lemonade today and the body is feeling ok. Good enough to shovel some snow tonight when I got home from school.
Tea tonight, sea water tomorrow morning and Day 4 here we come.
The Master Cleanser Day 3
I know it looks like I'm obsessed with my weight and guess what, I'm sort of. All my life I have been the pudgy kid or an overweight adult. So my weight has always been an issue. The oddest thing is that I am probably in the best shape now, at 43, than I have been in my entire life. The only other time that I was even close to being in shape was when I worked at a cheese factory during high school. So yup, I will be watching how much I weigh and smiling.
A little more history, during the spring of 2003, I weighed in at around 255. I got called a fat ass one too many times and then started the Subway diet. Within a month, I lost over 10 pounds and then my old chiropractor, Dr. Bob, recommended getting a bike. 4th of July weekend in 2003 I did just that. A few weeks later, a friend, Erik, introduced me to padded shorts and clipless pedals. That was it, I was hooked. I primarily rode on the road, but I did pick up a mountain bike but didn't ride very much. Last year, I took the big plunge and raced in the Wisconsin Off Road Series. I had a blast and wonder what took me so long to get to this point. Enough of that for now.
Back to what's up with the diet. Salt water wash and making sure to have time for the results. Otherwise, things are well so far this morning.
Barb did mention yesterday after kissing me, that I smell differently. Not bad, just different. hhmmm.....
I'll write more later.

The Master Cleanser Day 2 (part 2)
I must remember to make sure to set enough time aside for the effects of the salt water wash. If not, it could be pretty nasty.
Barb did pick up a better tool for squeezing the lemons. One of those old fashion hand twister ones. Works much better than doing it by hand. But I also ordered a juicer today so that I will be able to use all of the lemon.
She also got organic lemons and organic Grade A maple syrup. The lemons were much larger then the other ones that she got and the syrup appears to be pretty much the same as what we had, but it is now organic. I tried them out this afternoon and didn't really notice a taste difference.
Also did some more research on maple syrup. Maple Valley is still out there and selling their wares. I called them today, but there are no local retailers carrying their products so I do believe I will be ordering some online. Nice thing is, they are only across the state so shipping won't be too much. I need to call them tomorrow and find out more about the differences between Grade A and Grade B. I forgot to ask today.
There were a few times today that I could have grabbed some regular food and stuffed in my mouth, but I didn't. I think the cravings will be less as time goes on.
The Master Cleanser Day 2
Started today 2 pounds lighter than yesterday. I'm hungry, but I'm not, all at the same time. Some say the first few days are the hardest. Day 1 wasn't bad, lets see what Day 2 brings.
The sea salt morning drink does take some getting used to. But, if nothing else, it does clean you out. If you should ever do this diet, make sure to NOT be heading straight out the door when you drink this stuff or you'll be sorry.
I guess this is a test of wills and wants. You gotta want it. It is only the start of the day, I'll catch up you later for more on how the day is going with this.

The Master Cleanser Day 1
That is what my start weight was for the Master Cleanser diet that I have started today.
Last night started with herbal laxative tea. Didn't sleep well though, lots of tossing and turning. Might have been from the Race Day Boost and Liquid Endurance test for the 4 hour spin class yesterday. Also tested out Energy Surge. All good stuff. The 4 hour class didn't slow me down much and today my body isn't that wrecked.
This morning started out with 32 ounces of water and 2 teaspoons of sea salt. That will clean you out within an hour. Not too bad though. Was expecting many trips to the bathroom, but only needed 2. So, not bad.
The lemonade drink is 10 ounces of water, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of maple syrup and cayenne pepper. As much pepper as you like. I drank 80 ounces of that mixture today. Surprisingly I wasn't really hungry for food. We will have to see how that goes in the next coming days.
Had to shovel snow today, so I did have some exercise and that felt good also. It was about 35 out, so I ended up being over dressed and sweating a ton. The pepper didn't help there either, I guess.
Had more of the tea tonight.
So after the first day, things are still well. I hoping for at least 14 days of this. Only time will tell.
